History

1975 RAPID was founded and imported its first machine – the latest generation swiss gear milling machine (Mikron), in order to deliver high precision gears from the beginning to a deficient market in this area.

1977 The fast acquisition of machinery and contracts with Siemens and other large companies had forced a change in our facilities.

1982 With the import of more machines as well as significant investments in the area of metrology, it had become necessary to expand again and therefore relocating to our current address.

1986 At the request of automobile manufacturers and other large companies, we invested in the area of turning and grinding, in order for us to provide complete parts to our customers.

1994 Predicting the rising cost of labor in Brazil, a phase of automation of processes began with the import of the first CNC turning center machine (Schaublin / Switzerland).

2003 In this year we were ISO 9001 certified, thus formalizing our already efficient quality control system.

2008 Gradual introduction of custom software has allowed greater agility and transparency, as well as obtaining performance results of the production in real time.
